Finalist for ‘Food Pub of the Year’...

Welcome to cloud nine, the current cloud we are all sitting on! On Wednesday 21st April 2010 our fantastic mill was awarded one of the most prestigious awards in the pub industry calendar - ‘Pub of the Year’. Not only that, we walked away with a second award of ‘Freehouse of the year’ and were runners up to the exceptional Stag at Offchurch, with ‘Food pub of the Year’; which if you are ever in Leamington Spa, you must pay a visit.

To win this award means a huge amount to us, showing how we truly have now turned the once unloved, deprived mill into quite literally the best pub in the land.

We are now trying to work magic on The Grove Ferry and hope it will soon be picking up awards like these.

...to our fantastic Mansion house. Built in 1831

The Grove Ferry took it name from a hand drawn ferry that crossed the river in front of the building.

Now the team that transformed The Wiremill, Surrey www.thewiremill.co.uk into one of the finest pubs in the land have teamed up with the oldest brewer in the UK; Shepherd Neame to return the Grove Ferry to the traditional coaching inn it once was, but now in modern day England.

9.00am - close (12ish)

9.00am - 10.30pm

Breakfast served till 11.15am everyday

Lunch served 12noon - 3pm Mon-Thursday

12 noon ALL DAY Friday - Sunday

Diner served 6pm - 10pm Mon - Thursday
